ADVANTAGE
Travel Centres has relaunched its website following increased competition from
on-line agencies.
The
organisation has spent £200,000 redeveloping the site, which features a variety
of new functions.
Advantage sales
and marketing director Colin O’Neill said: “This is not a profit making
exercise, it’s what we call a ‘marketing funnel’. The website’s broad aim is to
attract customers and funnel, or direct, them to their nearest Advantage agent
to make the booking.”
Additions
to the website include on-line booking for a variety of products, a postcode
search so users can find their nearest Advantage agent and a chat facility so
users can chat on-line with a team telesales consultants.
The site can be visited by going to www.advantage4travel.com.
