Airtours is to operate an extra service out of Exeter Airport to Tenerife from November until the end of April. The flight, which will depart and return on Tuesdays, is in addition to thetwice-weekly Exeter to Tenerife flights Airtours operates in winter.
* mumbai seeks approval for new airport
Officials in Mumbai have applied to the Indian government for approval to build a new two-runway airport to relieve congestion at the city’s current airport, the busiest in the country. Authorities hope the new facility, to be built in an industrial area at Navi Mumbai, will be open by 2007.
