Gray Dawes opens first office in Manchester

GRAY Dawes Business Travel Management has opened a new office in Manchester.

The opening will complement the company’s existing office in Accrington and comes as Manchester prepares to host the Commonwealth Games next year.

The John Dalton Street branch will be headed by John Hutchison, who has been appointed director of sales for the north west of England. He joined Gray Dawes from property company Marylebone Warwick Balfour, where he was head of corporate sales.

Hutchison said: “Manchester presents a wealth of opportunities to develop our customer base in the northwest and the opening of the city-centre office gives us a firm foothold in Greater Manchester.

“We are already experiencing interest from companies in the region as a result of the heightened profile our new location has given us.”

Gray Dawes has also become one of the first agencies to adopt the on-line booking system Your Travel Manager in conjunction withBritish Airways. The company previously used Web Traveller by Galileo.
