Humphries to speak at AITOconference

BBC Radio 4 presenter John Humphries will be among speakers at the Association of Independent Tour Operators’ 25th annual conference in Turin.

Humphries will compare his struggles running a small farm during the foot and mouth crisis to those of small independent operators coping with the downturn in business following September 11. Civil Aviation Authority director of consumer protection Helen Simpson will also look at how consumer protection has changed and how it will develop in the next 25 years. The conference will be held from November 22-26.
