Donaldson to join Holiday Autos board
FORMER Thomas Cook chief executive John Donaldson has been appointed deputychairman of Holiday Autos.
Donaldson left Thomas Cook in April after negotiating the company’s sale to German operator C&N Touristic. He is expected to bring in new investment. He currently holds the position of chairman of Accoladia, the trading name of the joint venture between Thomas Cook Holidays and British Airways Holidays.
Donaldson will join Holiday Autos in a non-executiveadvisory role immediately and will team up with existing board members, former chief executive of Anite Group Jon Richards and Paul Thomas, who represents venturecapitalist ECI.
“I have observed with admiration the successful international development of Holiday Autos,” said Donaldson.
“I look forward to joining the board and contributing to the company’s continuedsuccessful development.”
