Networks is to acquire TV Travel Shop.
The $100
million deal is subject to approval from the German competition authorities.
The move,
predicted by Travel Weekly earlier this year (January 21), is understood to be part
of USA Network’s aggressive expansion into the e-commerce market. The company
recently acquired on-line travel agency Expedia from technology giant Microsoft.
