n New £13m terminal for port of hull



A new £13m passenger terminal is being built at the Port of Hull in order to accommodate two new 1,360-passenger ferries ordered by P&O North Sea Ferries. The 60,600-tonne ships are due to be delivered in April and December 2001.



n Sea france £109 return fare offer



SeaFrance is offering a standard return fare of £109 to customers who make a booking before January 12. The ticket, which is valid for travel throughout 2000, would normally cost £310. A five-day return has been slashed from £191 to £69.



n new superseacat for sea containers



Sea Containers will add capacity to its Heysham-Belfast route with the introduction of a SuperSeaCat vessel on March 16. The SuperSeaCat has a capacity of up to 700 passengers and 175 cars. The SeaCat that previously operated the route carries up to 500 passengers and 80 cars.
