Post Office rounds on agents’ insurance

THE Post Office is targeting agents in a campaign warning
holidaymakers of the dangers of paying too much for travel insurance.

Consumers have been told they will pay £100 million too much
this year on policies unless they shop around and use independent insurers.

Post Office chiefs advise people it is not obligatory to buy
insurance at an agency and to make sure their policy matches a buyer’s needs.

They add that independent policies can be 50% cheaper.
Naturally, the Post Office advises people to check its insurance first when
buying cover.
