‘Torn apart’ agent hits out at Blair

TONY Blair stands accused of ripping a travel agent’s
family apart in his determination to wage war on Iraq.

Huddersfield-based homeworker Lynn
Tomlinson told Travel Weekly how her 21-year-old daughter Victoria – a nurse in
the army – flew out to the Gulf last week in preparation for military action.

And in a second blow to the family, Lynn described how
she has earned just £174 this month as bookings have slumped, forcing her to
consider a career outside the industry.

“I’ve been logged on to Teletext all day and I’ve had
two calls,” she said. “Travel is dying on its feet.”

Lynn, 42, who has worked in travel for seven years,
said she was reluctant to leave the job she loves, but can no longer afford to
stay.
