Travel Foundation drinks to success

OPERATORS backing industry charity The Travel
Foundation have added a second Cyprus excursion as part of work to educate
holidaymakers about traditional life on the island.

Clients can now visit Kalo Chorio, which has been the
centre of Commandaria wine production since the Middle Ages. The tour takes in
the Commandaria winery, where visitors can watch a short film about its history
and enjoy a tasting. Clients can then explore the village, visit a local coffee
shop, go on a nature trail or visit the market.

Travel Foundation backers TUI, First Choice, MyTravel,
Thomas Cook and Sunvil will promote and offer the tour to clients in resort.

It can be taken as a stand-alone
excursion or combined with the existing Travel Foundation village tour, which
takes clients into the homes of local people.
