Alan Bartram Travel goes out of business

ALAN Bartram Travel has gone into voluntary liquidation
after its bank pulled its overdraft.

The Luton-based agency, which also had branches in Stopsley,
Dunstable and Sundon Park, Bedfordshire, failed on Monday
morning.

The Midconsort member had a turnover of £3 million and
employed 12 staff.

Managing director Alan Bartram is well-known for hosting the
Barty Awards where staff vote annually for their favourite
suppliers. This year, at the fifth Barty Awards, best airport was
Luton Airport, while best cruise operator was Mediterranean
Shipping Cruises.
