THIS year’s Association of Independent Tour Operators conference will focus on developing staff.
The three-day event, called People Matter, will begin on November 19 in Tunisia. It is expected to be attended by around 180 delegates.
AITO chairman Richard Hearn said: “No matter how clever and insightful the brand, the responsibility for delivery will always be the people within our organisations.”
Topics covered in sessions will range from making sure the right people are employed to how best to develop and retain them.
Speakers at the conference will include Holidaybreak HR director Tricia Walker.
