AUDLEY Travel and Holiday Extras are among five travel companies which have been given Michelin-style star awards for supporting their staff.
Workplace engagement specialists, Best Companies, which compiles The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for List, has put together an accreditation list of businesses excelling in supporting their staff.
The accreditation is based on a star-rating system and both Audley Travel and Holiday Extras received two stars – classed as outstanding.
Flight Centre, HotelConnect and Fred Olsen all received one star – rated as first class. There is also an ‘extraordinary’ three-star accreditation.
Best Companies founder and chief executive Jonathan Austin said: “Our research shows business performance and workplace engagement are inextricably linked.
“We believe our accreditation system will serve to identify outstanding organisations that continually support their most important asset, their people.”
