Barwell Leisure has grown its market share of La Manga breaks in Spain following its acquisition for an undisclosed sum of property management company Benito Management Services.
The company will be renamed Barwell Management Services when the deal takes effect on New Year’s Day and will triple its property capacity, bringing the total number of properties it offers in the resort to more than 200.
Barwell chairman Richard Lemmer said: “We’re delighted to announce this deal which firmly cements our position as the world’s leading operator at La Manga Club.
“With La Manga Club’s golf and sporting facilities, this move will enable us to ‘fast track’ to where we need to be to ensure the highest levels of customer service in resort. It also gives us the potential to replicate this model to other destinations in the future.”
