Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is promising more support to UK travel agents seeking to increase their sales with a revised online training programme.
The new Disney Stars programme details attractions and entertainment launched as part of Disney’s Year of a Million Dreams celebration. Working from the results of customer research, the programme aims to help agents communicate the variety of activities available for adults at the Florida resort.
The training programme will also emphasise the efforts Disney is making to cater for children of all ages, following research which showed consumers were asking what the “best age” was to take their children to the resort.
Jeff James, vice president sales and marketing for Walt Disney Resort in Florida, said: “We have conducted thorough research and implemented a number of changes to our online training programme in order to provide agents with what they need to sell Walt Disney World Resort holidays to their customers – whatever the age and taste of the travelling party.”
