MAXjet expansion continues – 21 Nov 2006

MAXjet Airways is to increase its London Stansted to Washington Dulles service to six time weekly from March 15 next year.

The all business-class carrier is also adding two new aircraft to its fleet next year and an announcement will be made soon about new routes. A twice weekly service to Las Vegas was launched on November from £999 return.

The airline, which started operating a year ago, has also added a new connections section on its newly revamped website.

Chief executive Gary Rogliano said: “Currently loads are over and above our projections and forward bookings are also very strong.

“We try to make travelling to the States as easy as possible for our customers by offering them the extensive information on connections. Our new flight to Vegas, as well as being a popular destination, will also offer greater scope for connections with the west coast.”

A deal struck with Radisson SAS will also allow customers arriving at Stansted to have breakfast, freshen up and use the facilities including the gym in the Stansted Radisson next door to the terminal.
