Mike Bruce-Mitford has stood down as Travelzest chairman and been replaced by Mark Molyneux.
Bruce-Mitford has chaired the board since its inauguration in April 2005 and has overseen the company’s buy and build strategy to create the group of specialist travel businesses.
His replacement has been a non-executive director since October and was previously a managing partner at Ernst and Young (UK) where he was jointly responsible for the company’s day-to-day management.
Group chief executive Chris Mottershead said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mike for his contribution during a very important period in Travelzest’s development.”
Meanwhile the company also announced the appointment of Nishma Robb to the board. She joined the group in 2006 as group distribution director and has been responsible for the company’s online strategy and capability.
