RYANAIR are in danger of earning the title of ‘whine air’, due to all their public grousing.
They whine about airport costs here and in Ireland, they whine about the cost of CRS displays, they whine when passengers require facilities such as wheelchairs and they whine about agents applying fees to their ticket sales due to derisory commission earnings.
It’s time they realised that in a marketplace they have changed, as they have every right to, they shouldn’t complain when the changes affect them.
Agents have every right to be paid a level of remuneration that actually reflects the cost of the work involved; lowering the fares, then the rate of commission as well, and then demand that agents be banned from earning a living is pie in the sky. It is up the client to assess whether or price from the agent is worth it, or whether to book direct.
