Names put forward for GBTA forum


AVIS, British Midland and Galileo UK have put forward representatives to join the Guild of Business Travel Agents’ new forum for young people.



The GBTAdecided at its conference in May to set up a working party of people under 35 years to discuss the future of business travel and the industry (Travel Weekly May 31).



The group will have a particular emphasis on technology.



Heading the forum is Travel Centre Norwich managing director Rachel Crampton, who selected nine representatives from a shortlist put forward by GBTAmembers.



The list includes Galileo UKgeneral manager Peter Grover, Avis group marketing manager Oliver Rait and British Midland business sector controller Michael Stott, and business travel agents, Ian Buckley from Horncastle Travel and Jenny Taylor of Calson Wagonlit.
