NatWest is to launch a new travel reward programme in association with ebookers and EasyJet, ending its 19-year relationship with Airmiles.
The bank said it has decided to scrap its existing customer loyalty scheme as its customers no longer value the Airmiles product.
NatWest customers will cease collecting Airmiles from June and start to collect YourPoints, which can be redeemed against flights, hotels and packages from ebookers or EasyJet.
“Customers won’t be restricted to one airline or limited seat availability when they come to using their points,” said ebookers managing director Alan Josephs, alluding to the limited nature of the Airmiles product.
“Instead customers will be able to choose from a vast range of airlines, hotels and car hire.”
