Cosmos Holidays has added day trips from Newcastle and Cardiff in its second-edition December 2007 Finnish Lapland brochure.
The airports have been added to current gateways Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham in response to demand from customers and their introduction means the programme is the largest to date.
Head specialist products Sara Gelder said: “The shorter the trip, the more our customers want to depart from their local airport, which is obviously the case with our one-day Lapland trips.”
Day trips are available on a choice of dates and are inclusive of ski boots/suits, all activities, such as toboggan, reindeer, husky dog and snowmobile rides, plus a trip to Santa’s Post Office, a present from Santa and buffet lunch.
Prices lead in at £389 per adult and £335 per child.
Also new for 2007 is a new five-night Christmas itinerary in the resorts of Levi and Yllasjarvi with flights from Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham to complement the existing four-night itineraries available over Christmas. The five-night Christmas itinerary is priced from £975 per adult and £809 per child.
