Global distribution system Amadeus has launched a car hire booking platform for traditional and online agents.
Amadeus Cars Easy Shopper offers content direct from car rental providers such as Hertz, Auto Europe and Holiday Autos.
The GDS said the system offers “direct real-time access” to fully inclusive prepaid rates, a faster booking process and a range of product.
Amadeus travel services and leisure managing director Albert Pozo said: “We are delighted to build upon our current car solutions by creating a unique offering for the leisure market, demonstrating our dedication and flexibility to provide sophisticated IT solutions to the car rental industry.”
