Travel agencies can now display live pricing and availability for accommodation and transfers on their websites using feeds from dynamic packaging company vacenza.com.
It comes as vacenza.com launches new product in Dubai and prepares for the launch of a white-label website for the trade in December, which will eventually include a flight booking facility.
The new feed service, called Host2Host, can also be integrated into an agency’s dynamic packaging system. Agents can take a standard 15% commission or buy net fares and add their own mark-up with a margin management tool.
“It means customers can book via the agency’s website, but have the benefit of our product and negotiated rates,” said vacenza.com trade relations manager Judith Pigg.
The white label site will also offer flights from January, including no-frills, scheduled and charter. However, there are no plans to introduce flight feeds.
Vacenza.com currently has 24,000 properties on its inventory and has just added 25 city and beach hotels in Dubai, most in the four and five star categories.
It is also looking at further expansion in the Middle East, including destinations such as Oman and Abu Dhabi. Next year it plans to branch out into new areas such as cruise.
At the moment the company is working with 1,300 agencies and has commercial agreements in place with Hays, the Travel Trust Association and Elite Travel Group.
