COMPANY cultures must change to take advantage of future opportunities, Advantage Travel Centres business development manager Norman Gage has warned.
Gage urged members to embrace the Internet to save costs and speed up business. He said links between suppliers and agents’ Web sites would become the norm in the future.
“It won’t do us any good to complain about what is happening and, indeed, it may jeopardise future business,” he said.
“Small changes on a weekly basis bring quick gains. Company culture must change to take business forward.”
He advised Advantage members that help was available to enable companies to make the switch to new ways of doing business.
Gage also told delegates that independent agents were more able to take advantage of new technology as they can move quickly.
