Accommodation-only provider Youtravel.com has expanded into Bulgaria, adding 30 hotels for summer 2008.
The hotels are split between the resorts of Sunny Beach and Golden Sands, with prices starting from £94 for seven nights at a five star hotel.
Sales and marketing director Paul Riches said bookings for summer 2008 had made a promising start.
“Last week bookings for summer 08 accounted for almost 30% of our sales. The idea that accommodation-only bookings are only for the late market is a fallacy. Every week we are seeing the percentage share of bookings for departures more than six months away increase – a trend we’re expecting to continue.”
