Hoseasons sees homeworker villa bookings rise 62%

Self catering specialist Hoseasons has reported a 62% increase in UK and European villa bookings by homeworkers this year.

Hays homeworkers enjoyed an 88% uplift in bookings since the same period in 2007.

Hoseasons’ Lodges and Parks in Britain product booked by homeworkers saw a 62% rise, while bookings for cottages increased 42%. European villas booked through homeworkers increased by 74%.

Hoseasons business development director Pali Badwal said: “Homeworkers are really cashing in on the popularity of our holidays in 2008, both for UK holidays and our villa product in Europe.

“Our wide product range allows homeworkers to offer clients multiple sales opportunities, especially with the boom in the short breaks market, which gives the opportunity to sell more than one holiday to the same client.”
