Paris and London were the most popular destinations for Brits going away for Easter, a study by travel social networking site trivago.co.uk has revealed.
Money is no object for Brits at Easter, said the study, with a night in a London hotel costing £120 and a night in Paris setting you back £107.
Rome was named third most popular, perhaps thanks to its “large number of churches and strong catholic tradition”. The average hotel room in Rome was close behind Paris at £106.
Berlin was the fourth most popular choice and a bargain at £74 a night.
