Fare cuts of up to 45% are being made by Malaysia Airlines in a Blue Monday sale.
The discounts on flights from Heathrow give lead in return rates of £379 to Kuala Lumpur for travel between February 28 and May 31.
The flash sale runs until midnight on Wednesday and covers flights to key Malaysian destinations including Langkawi and Penang (£399) plus Kota Kinabalu and Kuching in Borneo (£419).
The price cuts cover the airline’s twice daily Airbus 380 service from London to Kuala Lumpur plus connecting flights to other destinations in Malaysia.
The carrier’s UK general manager Adrian Keating said: “On what is reckoned to be the most miserable day of the year, made worse by the cold weather conditions, we are delighted to bring some cheer to lighten the mood this Blue Monday by offering travellers even more affordable flights to Malaysia.”
