Hollywood actor Harrison Ford reportedly landed his private plane on a taxiway rather than a runway, flying directly above a passenger aircraft.
The 74-year-old star landed safely at John Wayne airport near Los Angeles on Monday, but air traffic control recordings captured him asking, “was that airliner meant to be underneath me?”
Ford was then informed that he had not come down on the runway he had been instructed to land on, but on a taxiway, according to NBC News.
The aircraft Ford flew over was an American Airlines Boeing 737 bound for Dallas with 110 passengers and six crew on board.
The actor was flying alone in his single engine Husky during Monday’s incident, NBC reported.
