Don’t make a big mistake Longwood

Longwood Holidays comment on educationals being a waste of time is a total cop-out (Travel Weekly March 13). Educationals are the best way to introduce agents to your product.


In January this year, Iwas very lucky to be part of a group visiting Israel with Peltours. Since returning I have sold holidays to this country and used my personal knowledge to finalise the sale.


My colleagues have also benefited as I can give them first-hand information on hotels, resorts and sightseeing.


The educational was informative and pleasant, so top marks to Peltours. Educationals are not a thing of the past and should be, as the name suggests, educational.
