The Association of Women Travel Executives is to open a branch in Ireland.
The Irish chapter of the member organisation will be the first outside the UK.
The first event will be a dinner and drinks reception sponsored by Aer Lingus at the Morrison Hotel in Dublin on April 11.
The event heralds the beginning of the organisation’s move to expand internationally.
The AWTE has just introduced its international membership where members can participate in online training and have access to the global network of female executives.
Tickets to the Irish launch are available for €20 and guests are entitled to an automatic 50% off membership fees if they sign up on the day.
Chairwoman, Debbee Dale, said: “April 11 is an exciting milestone for the AWTE as we extend our membership to Ireland.
“The event will be an opportunity for women from the Irish travel industry to gather and enjoy the networking and development opportunities enjoyed by our members in the UK.
“The special rate we are offering guests on the night will be a one off, so we encourage people to spread the word and share the news that the AWTE has officially arrived in Dublin.”
