Kaleidoscope Travel Group has implemented Comtec’s Travelink sales and management system across its brands.
The 300 contact centre staff across Travelsphere, Page & Moy and Just You, who answer up to 6,500 calls a day, now use the system to search for and book holidays. The technology also powers search and booking on the group’s websites.
Kaleidoscope Travel Group Steve Foster said the new system had taken over a year to implement and the group is now working with Comtec to further develop its systems.
“This has been a major project including over 350 man days of bespoke software development. We are delighted tothe teams have delivered on budget in time to capture bookings for the 2009 season,“ he said.
Comtec chief executive Simon Powell added: “The technology we’ve developed for Kaleidoscope Travel now positions Travelink as having some of the most advanced software in the marketplace specifically tailored to the escorted holidays sector.”
