Katie Daniels is to join First Class Holidays in the newly-created role of regional sales manager for the southeast of England.
Daniels, who starts next week, has been at Funway Holidays for ten months as business development manager for the southeast, London and the Midlands, in a maternity cover role for Anna Hawkins, who is returning to the business.
Prior to that role she spent nine years at Kuoni, most recently as national sales executive.
Her departure from Funway comes two months after sales director Amanda Darrington left to join Royal Caribbean as sales director for the UK and Ireland. Daniels also worked for Darrington at Kuoni.
Daniels’ appointment represents an expansion in the sales team at First Class Holidays. She will be based in the southeast of England and be responsible for independent travel agents across the region. Agents can contact her via sales@fcholidays.com.
