Island Cruises launches brochure for National Cruise Week

Island Cruises has produced one million copies of a new mini-brochure to coincide with National Cruise Week.


The cruiseline has launched a second edition of its Captain’s Specials mini-brochure, and increased the number of brochures printed by 400,000 to capitalise on extra public interest expected to be generated by next month’s National Cruise Week.


Director of sales Leslie Peden said printing one million brochures was “unprecedented”.


The cruiseline’s first Captain’s Specials lates mini-brochure was launched earlier this summer. The new brochure – out on August 21 – covers late deals for the end of this summer as well as cruises from November onwards for this winter, next summer and next winter.


Brochure highlights include free all-inclusive drinks upgrades on summer 2009 Mediterranean cruises on Island Escape booked by October 31; cabin upgrades from just £4 per person per night for an outside cabin on any Mediterranean and Caribbean 2009/2010 cruise booked by October 31 on Island  Escape or Island Star, and children’s prices start from £99 for 2009 Mediterranean cruises on Island Star.


Brochure prices lead-in at £599 for a seven-night Easter cruise around the Mediterranean on Island Escape, based on two sharing an inside cabin, departing Stansted or Manchester on March 31, 2009. Price includes flights, transfers, full board accommodation and tips.
