Kuoni has thanked owners of its partner stores by flying them out to Lake Garda after partnership sales rose 16%.
Nine partner store owners, plus the luxury travel agent management team, flew to Italy for a two-day conference last week.
Kuoni’s management team, which included Alexandre Gavalda, head of commercial and product, Lucy Ellingham, partner area sales manager and Emma Scott, partner service hub executive, gave informal presentations around future strategy.
The group then experienced some of the sights around the lake in northern Italy.
Brad Bennetts, Kuoni national sales manager, said: “The strategy that we have with our partner stores is strong and continues to work.
“They are brilliant to work with and we view them as an extension of our fantastic retail network and more so part of the Kuoni family.”
Nine out of ten Kuoni partner stores – all independent travel agents – went to the conference on October 16.
