NCL cancels fourth cruise for repairs

Norwegian Cruise Line has dropped a fourth cruise on the Norwegian Sky, which ran aground in Quebec five weeks ago.

The ship was due to set sail on a 15-day journey from Boston to Miami on October 28 but the itinerary has been cancelled to give the shipyard time to complete repairs.

The cancellation follows three others on September 28, October 8 and 18.

Passengers will receive a full refund and 25% reduction on any cruise, including millennium cruises, booked before October 31, 2000. Guests rebooking a cruise of seven days or more in 1999 will also receive a £60 on-board spending credit per cabin. Agents commission will be protected.

Norwegian Sky is currently in dry dock at the Davies Industries Shipyard in Quebec but is due to set sail, minus its passengers, to arrive in Miami as scheduled on November 12. Its first seven-day Caribbean cruise begins on November 14.
