Premium passengers flying with International Airlines Group carriers rose by 7.3% last month over November 2016.
Overall group traffic for the British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia and Vueling holding company increased by 7% year-on-year.
Passenger numbers rose to almost 8 million in the month giving a year to November total up 3.8% to 97.1 million.
During the month the group announced plans for low-cost long-haul offshoot Level to start flying transatlantic routes from Paris Orly from July 2018.
A new Level route to Boston from Barcelona is to start on March 28 with the airline adding a third Airbus A330 to its Spanish based fleet later next summer.
Seattle was named as a new transatlantic route to be opened by Aer Lingus from Dublin from May 2018 – the sixth announced by the airline since IAG took over in August 2015. The new US west coast service will bring the Irish carrier’s North America network up to 15 routes.
