City break specialist Osprey Holidays is the latest operator to raise commission for travel agents.
The 0.5% increase comes ahead of new legislation coming into force tomorrow (Saturday) banning credit card charges for holiday bookings.
“Osprey Holidays are committed to supporting their valued partners and have introduced the extra commission to alleviate the impact the new legislation will bring,” marketing manager Sarah Black said.
The commission increase by the Edinburgh-based company has been in place since November 1 and includes all new bookings.
