Holidaymakers will be able to check in for flights home from their hotels with a free service being introduced by Thomas Cook this summer.
Easy Check-In enables passengers on selected Thomas Cook Airlines flights to check their luggage in and receive boarding passes before arrival at the airport.
The service will be available at 22 hotels this summer across Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Rhodes, Zante and Crete, including seven Thomas Cook own-brand hotels.
It is due to be expanded to more destinations and hotels in summer 2019.
The initiative is designed to help travellers make the most of their last day on holiday.
Easy Check-In means passengers avoiding airport check-in queues as they can instead head straight through to security.
Rival operator Jet2holidays launched a similar service, Resort Flight Check In, in May 2016 and has gradually rolled it out in more hotels.
Thomas Cook UK managing director Chris Mottershead said: “We’re excited to introduce Easy Check-In and allow our customers to spend more time at the beach, by the pool, or enjoy an excursion, on their last day.
“We’re always looking for ways to let holidaymakers personalise their holidays to suit their needs, and we think this will enable them to make even more of their hard earned time away.”
The service is the latest initiative to personalise holidays that Cook has introduced. It follows pre-paying for sunbeds for €25 and the option to choose rooms at 300 hotels this summer at a cost of €30.
