Teletext Holidays is to launch a travel deals email as a direct response to successful efforts from firms such as Travelzoo, Cheapflights and Travelsupermarket.
The bulletin will be sent to 500,000 users on the Teletext database every two weeks and called Travel Tip-Off..
Teletext will follow similar emails in the market and have a dedicated product selected by staff for the best deals on the system.
Teletext Holidays managing director Matt Cheevers told Travel Weekly’s sister title Travolution: “We know that our customers respond to great deals and recent feedback has told us that they want deals delivered in a simpler and more direct format.
“We already have a supplier base that is unrivalled across the industry and this new email gives them yet another way of driving cost effective sales leads.
“Travel Tip Off will provide a balanced blend of product to the consumer and all deals will certainly have the wow factor.”
