Hays Travel announces 35% rise in the number of homeworkers

The number of Hays Travel homeworkers has increased by more than 35% year on year, with sales up by more than 45%.

The figures were announced at the Hays Travel Homeworker Conference 2018, attended by more than 130 homeworkers, head office staff and suppliers.

Personal Travel Consultant general manager Stephenie-Anne Cope said the rise in sales represented “good growth” on the previous year and was in line with the increase in the number of homeworkers working for Hays.

The event was held at the Andalucia Plaza Hotel in Marbella, Spain.

During the event personal travel consultant Natalie Taylor was also presented with the outstanding contribution award.

Cope said: “Natalie’s business has grown considerably in the last year and continues to do so month by month. We have also gained four fantastic new homeworkers from Natalie’s recommendations.

“Natalie is very supportive of her colleagues, which is important in a homeworking environment. We’re really lucky to have such a committed, enthusiastic and hardworking homeworker on board.”

Cope added that the conference was a motivational event for homeworkers, which gave them the chance to “hear about each others’ successes and building relationships”.
