Virgin Atlantic has unveiled new round-the-world fares from London Heathrow: Virgin Global East and Virgin Global West.
Virgin Global East flies passengers from Heathrow to Hong Kong and then to Sydney with Virgin Atlantic, from Sydney to Los Angeles with V Australia, returning from Los Angeles to London with Virgin Atlantic.
Virgin Global West takes passengers from London Heathrow to Los Angeles with Virgin Atlantic, then to Sydney with V Australia, from Sydney to Hong Kong and back to London with Virgin Atlantic.
A special launch fare of £1,239, including taxes and charges, is available for departures between February 25 and April 19 2009 until March 6 this year.
The company is currently celebrating its 25th year of operation, which is being marked by Sir Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic, travelling around the world in eight days.
