Turkish Airlines aims to undercut low-cost rivals with £99 return fares on a new route to Bodrum from Gatwick.
The service starts on June 13 with two flights a week in time for the summer peak.
Turkish Airlines’ London general manager, Celal Baykal, said: “We’re delighted to be able to launch this new route, as Turkey is set to welcome back thousands of British holidaymakers this summer.
“We’re committed to widening our customers’ worlds by inviting them to visit new places and explore different cultures.
“We know Bodrum holds a fond place in British hearts with many owning second homes in the coastal town and we’re pleased to be making it that bit easier to enjoy.
“We hope everyone in the UK travelling to Bodrum this summer will have a fantastic time whether new to the town or a return visitor.”
