ABTA benevolent fund seeks new development director

ABTA is looking for a development director to work on its benevolent fund.

The part-time role will be an in-house position and the successful candidate will report to head of communications Casia Zajac and chairman of the fund Sidney Perez.

As one of his/her first duties, the new development director will tackle a brand redevelopment of the charity which was set up 20 years ago and assists both current and former ABTA member employees who have fallen on hard times.

So far it has helped as many as 500 families through payments totalling around £500,000.

Marketing agency Orchestra will be undertaking research as part of the rebrand and ABTA members can contribute their own opinions through an online survey sent out last week through the ABTA Today e-newsletter.

The survey designed to test members’ perception of the charity and how ABTA can help meet their needs while all respondents will be entered into a prize draw with £100 of Marks and Spencers vouchers as the prize.
