Global to ‘ignite’ sales at Orlando conference

‘Ignite’ is the theme of the Global Travel Group’s 25th anniversary conference in Florida.

The event, which takes place at Universal Orlando Resort in November, will have a programme concentrated on ‘igniting’ sales and keeping member agents ahead of the game.

Guests will stay at the attraction’s Caribbean-inspired Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, with conference sessions held onsite.

Commercial director Cherie Richards said: “We really are pulling out all the stops in our silver jubilee year. The conference will be our first in North America and we can promise that it is going to be bigger and better than ever before.

“I’m pleased to say that interest is high and that we have already got 150 Global agents signed up to attend.

“We are expecting the numbers to rise further too, which means we will surpass our original target of 250 attendees.

“We are putting the finishing touches to the programme and will be revealing the full line-up soon.

“Universal, and Florida in general, are great sellers for our members so I would urge everyone to come along and experience what is sure to be an inspirational and motivating few days.”

The conference takes place on November 25-29.
