Thomas Cook is releasing four new versions of its Cash Passport prepaid cards.
Customers can preload cash onto the cards, which can then be used in the same way as debit cards in shops and restaurants abroad. Travellers can also use the cards to withdraw money from cash machines.
The new versions are available now and can be bought in New Zealand dollars, Australian dollars, Canadian dollars and the South African rand.
Thomas Cook UK and Ireland mainstream travel chief executive Pete Constanti said: “Thomas Cook is the expert in providing holiday money solutions, so we are constantly looking at developing new and convenient currency solutions for our customers.
“Following the success of our existing Cash Passport cards, we’re expecting our new versions to be a huge hit with travellers.”
Thomas Cook already offers Cash Passports in euros, US dollars and sterling, although the cards are only available through Thomas Cook or Going Places shops.
