Hotelplan appoints new head of marketing

Hotelplan UK has appointed Anne Williams as head of marketing to oversee the Inghams, Esprit Ski, Ski Total and Santa’s Lapland brands.

Williams moves from her role as head of brand planning and content at Celebrity Cruises and will be based in Hotelplan’s Godalming office.

Prior to working for celebrity, Williams held senior marketing roles at Crystal, Sunsail and Skiworld.

She will report into Hamish Rickman, marketing and gest experience director, who said: “Anne’s market knowledge, coupled with her strong brand planning and digital experience, mean that she is the ideal candidate as we continue to drive our marketing forward, with greater focus on performance and customer engagement.”

Williams replaces Louise Newton, who leaves Hotelplan at the end of the month but will continue to be retained by the company as she launches her own PR and content consultancy.

Meanwhile, PR executive Frankie Gibson has been promoted into the newly-created role of PR manager taking on responsibility for PR of all the brands – and will report into Williams.
