Flights disrupted after Majorca bomb blast

Flights in and out of  Majorca may be disrupted after a car bomb blast killed two officers outside a police barracks.

The vehicle exploded in Palmanova, a popular tourist area, and injured several other people.

Spanish officials have ordered the closure of all Majorca’s airports and ports to prevent the bombers escaping.

The incident comes a day after a car bomb hit a barracks in the mainland city of Burgos, injuring 46 people. That has been blamed on Basque separatists ETA.
