Holiday Extras has launched a trade-facing website that will make it easier and quicker for agents to provide customer service.

The site enables agents to pre-book a range of upgrades for customers and a Google-integrated search gives instant access to a product guide. It also boasts an improved view/amend/cancel feature and faster loading times.

Holiday Extras sales and operations director Howard Dove said: “The web accounts for 90% of all Holiday Extras business, and travel-partner bookings make up more than 60% of revenue. Our trade-facing website is fundamental to our success, and the time was right to invest in this key resource.”

The company is marking the launch of the website with a weekly competition. By completing the sentence “I like Holiday Extras’ new website because…”, agents have the chance to win £250 each week for a month.
