Swan and Voyages sign marketing deal with Advantage

Discovery Cruise specialists Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic, part of All Leisure Holidays, have signed a marketing deal with Advantage.


All Leisure Holidays sales and marketing director Geoff Lawrence said Swan and Voyages of Discovery have worked with a couple of individual Advantage agents but never the consortium. “This gives us access to a network of about 700 good independent agents. We will be working with them to ensure they have all the brochures, itineraries and up-to-date information they need to sell us.”


Lawrence said the primary focus of the partnership would be joint marketing to win new customers through Advantage’s database, window displays and newspaper and magazine adverts, details of which have yet to be decided.


However, he said Advantage agents will not receive special deals as part of the partnership. “We don’t allow agents to discount prices to compete against each other. Our prices are the same whether clients book direct or through an agent.”
